Keep your name after the free days
Every name starts with 30 free days and no card. When you know you want to keep it, you pay once a year from your site.link account.
1. Open your account
Go to mcp.site.link and sign in with the email you use with site.link in ChatGPT or Claude. Your account lists every name you hold, how long its free days last, and what it costs per year.
You don't have to watch the date. We email you 7 days and 1 day before a name's 30 free days end, with a link back here.
2. Choose Keep it
Click Keep it next to the name. Stripe takes the payment in US dollars, and the name is yours for a year from that day. It renews every year until you cancel.
- The year starts when you pay, even if free days were left. Waiting for the reminder email costs you nothing.
- Paying removes the "Made with site.link" badge from your site.
- Each name is paid for on its own. Keep the ones you use, let the rest go.
Manage or cancel
For a name you pay for, the account shows Manage billing. It opens Stripe's billing page, where you can change your card, see invoices or cancel.
If you cancel, the name stays yours until the end of the year you paid for, and there are no refunds for part of a year. Releasing a paid name ends its plan right away.
If you don't keep it
Nothing is charged, because there's no card on file. Here's what happens to the address:
- For 14 days, your site stays up with a notice at the bottom saying when it goes offline.
- Then the address is paused. Visitors see a page saying so. Your site is kept, and paying brings it back within a minute.
- 74 days after the free days end, the name is released for anyone to claim, and any files site.link hosted for it are deleted.
