ChatGPT and Claude made building a site faster. Sharing is still where many demos stall.
The preview URL problem
Default ChatGPT and Claude links are long. They look temporary. People hesitate to click them in Slack, and they are painful on a flyer or in a voice note.
What a short link changes
A name like maya.site.link signals a finished share. It is easier to remember, easier to type, and easier to reuse across chats while you keep iterating on the page behind it.
A simple practice
Build in chat. Claim a name early. Share the short link for feedback. Update the site as often as you need. Keep the name if the project sticks. Release it if it does not.
That loop is the whole point of site.link: less ceremony between "it works in chat" and "someone else can open it."
